The Dodgers will play their second spring training game today as they host the Los Angeles Angels at noon. The Angels will be playing split squad games today so that makes their visiting team lineup even less recognizable.

Russell Martin will again in at catcher as he works his way through his learning about the 2019 Dodger pitching staff.
In other news, manager Dave Roberts gave an update on Clayton Kershaw.
Kershaw is on anti-inflammatory medication, Roberts said. He said Kershaw’s efforts to increase his velocity might have contributed to his not feeling right this spring.

Roberts said Kershaw is now “encouraged,” after being discouraged with last Wednesday’s bullpen session.

It was also reported that Kershaw did not have an MRI taken and that the team still expects him to be their Opening Day starter.
Cody Bellinger is back at camp after being held out with a sore back.
