Opening Day has come and gone, so all the focus can finally shift towards Clayton Kershaw’s recovery process. After he suffered setbacks in the spring, Kershaw began the season on the injured list.
On Saturday, Kershaw threw a simulated game at Dodger Stadium. Joc Pederson and Enrique Hernandez both took at-bats against the lefty. He threw 50 pitches, and then went to the bullpen with Russell Martin to complete some more throws.
According to Dave Roberts, Kershaw will throw another simulated game in two days. Following that, he’ll throw a minor-league rehab start at either double-A Tulsa or triple-A Oklahoma City. Roberts said he’s uncertain whether or not he’ll make a second rehab start.

- Tomorrow, expect both Justin Turner and Corey Seager to be absent from the starting lineup. According to Roberts, it will just be rest.
- Another player looking to return from the injured list soon is Rich Hill. Dealing with a knee injury, Hill could throw off a mound as early as next week.
#Dodgers Rich Hill has been throwing on flat ground, wearing a brace on his injured left knee. Roberts said he could throw a 30-pitch bullpen session "some time early next week ... then we'll see how he feels" re: planning for a return from IL
