On Thursday morning, the Dodgers announced they had optioned right-handed pitcher JT Chargois back to triple-A Oklahoma City, and recalled right-hander Jaime Schultz.
Schultz was traded from the Rays to the Dodgers in early January. He began the season in Oklahoma City. On the young season, he’s struck out three and allowed one run in 1 1⁄3 innings of work.
He has a 5.64 ERA in 22 career major league games.
In other news, Dave Roberts confirmed Clayton Kershaw will be making his 2019 debut on Monday against the Reds.
