Ryu solid in loss to 5-0 loss to Brewers

Yelich hits a pair of home runs

MLB: Los Angeles Dodgers at Milwaukee Brewers Jeff Hanisch-USA TODAY Sports

The Dodgers winning streak ended at six games as they were shutout 5-0 by the Brewers on Saturday night. Chase Anderson may not get the headlines but he kept the Dodgers quiet for five innings and that was enough to get the win.

Christian Yelich provided the early offense. He hit two solo home runs to give the Brewers a two-run lead. Finally when the Dodgers decided to walk him, Ryan Braun hit a three-run homer off Caleb Ferguson to cap off their scoring.

The start by Hyun-jin Ryu in his return to rotation was good. Aside from Yelich, Ryu held is own just fine. Ryu struck out nine against one walk.

After Anderson, Alex Claudio, Junior Guerra and Matt Albers provided scoreless relief for the Brewers.

With just two singles, the Dodgers were shutout for the second time this season. They will try to bounce back tomorrow and take the series before the short ride to Chicago.
