Oklahoma City falls, all other affiliates have off-day

The Oklahoma City Dodgers were the only minor-league affiliated team to play on Sunday, as most of minor-league baseball took the day off for Easter.

Triple-A Oklahoma City

A five-run outburst in the sixth was enough for the Iowa Cubs, as they defeated the Oklahoma City Dodgers 8-3.

The Cubs led the inning of with three consecutive walks. After a sacrifice fly and intentional walk, the bases were loaded for Jim Adduci. He hit the first pitch he saw over the center field wall for a grand slam, giving Iowa a 5-1 lead.

Dixon Machado would hit another homer for the Cubs, this one being a three-run shot in the ninth to give them an 8-2 lead.

Connor Joe continued his impressive start to the season for the Dodgers. He tacked on two more hits, and is now hitting .500 with OKC.
