The boys in blue won two games out of three against the rival San Francisco Giants and Cody Bellinger had a hand in both of their wins.
The first game in the series resulted in a loss due to the bullpen, but Bellinger shined in games two and three.
On Tuesday night, Bellinger hit a grand slam - the first for the team this season. The Dodgers would need every single run Bellinger drove in because they barely edged the Giants that night, winning with a score of 6-5.
Bellinger drove in yet another run in the season finale, helping the Dodgers best San Francisco.
In just 12 at-bats in the series, Bellinger posed some great stats;
2 R | 4 H | 1 HR | 5 RBI | .333 AVG |
Through seven games, Bellinger leads the team in runs (9), hits (14), home runs (5), RBIs (13) and batting average (.435).
This is the second series in a row where Bellinger proved to be the player with the biggest impact - will he go for three? The next series is against the Colorado Rockies and it begins on Friday, Apr. 5.
