The Rancho Cucamonga Quakes were the only Dodgers’ minor league affiliate to play on Tuesday, defeating the Lake Elsinore Storm, 8-3.

Triple-A Oklahoma City

The Dodgers’ game against the Round Rock Express was postponed due to rain. There will be a doubleheader on Wednesday to make up for Monday’s missed game. Tuesday’s make-up game has not been rescheduled.

Double-A Tulsa

The Tulsa Drillers had an off day, traveling back home for an eight-game home stand. They will face the Midland RockHounds in a doubleheader tomorrow, making up for Apr. 24’s postponed contest.

Single-A Rancho Cucamonga

The battle in the Inland Empire continued between the Quakes and the Lake Elsinore Storm on Tuesday, with the Quakes coming out on top.

It was home runs galore in Rancho Cucamonga, with six of the Quakes’ eight runs scored by way of the long ball. Kicking off the fun was Carlos Rincon, hitting a three-run dinger in the first inning for his fourth on the year.

Quakes left-handed starter Victor Gonzalez saw a struggle in the next inning, allowing two earned runs to score. Back-to-back base hits followed by a two-out single would score the first. He would then walk the next batter to set up a bases-loaded situation for reliever Austin Hamilton. Hamilton allowed a bases-loaded walk to make the score 3-2 before getting out of the inning.

Jeter Downs extended the Quakes’ lead in the fourth inning with a two-run homer. First baseman Nick Yarnall also took part in the home run club with his dinger in the seventh. The final two runs were scored courtesy of an error and a sacrifice fly.

Left-handed pitcher Austin Hamilton provided the Dodgers with three scoreless innings, earning the win for his performance. In 6 23 innings pitched this season, he has yet to allow a run to score.

Class-A Great Lakes

Tuesday’s contest between the Great Lakes Loons and the Beloit Snappers (Athletics) was postponed due to rain. They return to action on Wednesday against the Beloit Snappers (Athletics) for a doubleheader, making up Tuesday’s game.
