National League West standings after week 5

The Dodgers remain in the No. 1 spot for another week

Yet another week of National League West action was completed and another week of the Los Angeles Dodgers retaining the No. 1 spot.

Their 20-13 record helped the Dodgers extend their lead over the Arizona Diamondbacks by half a game from last week. The Colorado Rockies also gained some traction, putting themselves ahead of the San Francisco Giants by 1 12 games.

This week in the NL West:

  • The Dodgers kick off the weekend playing the Padres in San Diego. They will then head home for a three-game set against the Atlanta Braves.
  • The Rockies host the Diamondbacks for three before welcoming the Giants to Coors Field for another three-game series.
  • After the Diamondbacks visit Denver, they will head to the east coast to face the Tampa Bay Rays.
  • The Giants will travel to Cincinnati to play against the Reds before making a pit stop in Denver to end their week.
