A player on the bereavement list must miss at least three games, but cannot miss more than seven. To fill the roster spot, the Dodgers recalled outfielder Kyle Garlick. The 27-year-old out of Cal Poly Pomona made his major league debut in a pinch-hit at-bat on May 19 against the Cincinnati Reds. With Triple-A Oklahoma City this season, Garlick is batting .280 with 10 home runs and 20 RBIs.
