Three games on Monday saw two wins. The Loons extended their winning streak to 10 games and the Drillers saw another good start from Mitch White and they hit some home runs to give them win.
Triple-A Oklahoma City
The Dodgers were defeated 4-0 by the Baby Cakes (Marlins) and they leave New Orleans splitting their series with each team winning twice.
Ben Holmes pitched five innings for the Dodgers and gave up all four runs. Holmes gave up six hits and three walks. He also struck out seven.
The Dodgers only had three hits and did not get their first hit until there was one out in the seventh inning. But they did walk seven times thus leading to leaving 10 runners on base.
Double-A Tulsa
The Drillers got another good start from Mitchell White and then home runs from Gavin Lux and Cristian Santana produced the 6-1 win over the Hooks (Astros). White continued his strong start to the season with six scoreless innings where he only gave up a hit and one walk. White also struck out a season high nine batters.
White has now pitched 24⅓ innings with a 1.85 ERA and 0.78 WHIP. He has struck out 30 and walked six.
Lux hit two home runs and Santana added a solo home run in the eighth.
Class-A Rancho Cucamonga
The Quakes were off on Monday. They will start a series against the Inland Empire 66ers (Angels) tonight at LoanMart Field.

The Loons beat the Cougars (Diamondbacks) 6-3 and extended their winning streak to 10 games. A five-run third inning provided the offense they needed to win the game.
In that third inning, Miguel Vargas doubled home two. An error allowed Romer Cuadrado to reach and also allowed the third run to score. Hunter Feduccia singled home two more runs to give the Loons their five-run inning.
Jose Chacin won his fourth game going five innings and giving up three runs. A very good relief effort from Guillermo Zuniga saved the game for the Loons. Zuniga pitched four scoreless innings and struck out four.
