Dodgers news ...

The Dodgers broke their six-game win streak on Monday with a loss to the Diamondbacks. You can read the TBLA recap here.

The Dodgers had an amazing week (which you can read about here), allowing them to jump up a spot in the MLB Power Rankings. No. 1 feels sweet!

Dodger Stadium will extend their protective netting, Bill Plunkett reported on Monday afternoon. Here’s the statement the Dodgers released after the story ran:

“Fan safety is of the utmost importance to the Dodgers and during the offseason, we began the process of studying how the netting at Dodger Stadium could be configured to provide better protection for our fans. Once this study is completed, the team will implement the recommended changes and extend the netting at Dodger Stadium. The team will provide more information on the project timeline and scope when available.”
