There was some news from OC Register’s Bill Plunkett regarding the injury status of several Dodgers and it looks like a few of them will be playing with the Dodgers or on a minor league rehab assignment.

Also on Sunday, MLB announced all of the remaining reserves and pitchers to the 90th All-Star Game next week. Three Dodger pitchers, Walker Buehler, Clayton Kershaw and Hyun-Jin Ryu were among the twelve named pitchers to the NL All-Star team.
In this story, MLB.com writer Manny Randhawa writes that manager Dave Roberts does “expect” Hyun-Jin Ryu to be his starting pitcher. Ryu, through an interpreter, is also quoted in the story that it is “an honor and a privilege” to be selected as an All-Star.
For more on the rest of the selections, you can check out this breakdown on MLB.com by Andrew Simon, David Adler and Matt Kelly.
Around the league ...
More news about the All-Star festivities came out on Sunday including who would be participating in the Home Run Derby. While the official announcement will be on Wednesday, some early names did come out yesterday as noted here on MLB.com.
Former Yankee and Baseball Hall-of-Famer Reggie Jackson was accompanying the Yankees on the trip and he was asked by MLB.com writer Bryan Hoch about his role as an assassin in the film “The Naked Gun.”
Also LA Times writer Ben Bolch wrote about the filming of those scenes at Dodger Stadium in October 2018.
