Pedro Moura of The Athletic writes about Dave Roberts’ success in his time with the Dodgers (subscription required).
Through 580 games, he now owns the fourth-best all-time winning percentage among 324 qualified managers — .598. If the 60-32 Dodgers continue winning near this year’s .652 pace, Roberts could become baseball’s all-time winningest manager, by percentage, before the end of next season.
The #Dodgers now have a season-high 14.5 game lead. Their magic number is 54 to win their 7th consecutive division title.
