Welcome to SB Nation FanPulse, a survey of fans across MLB. Each week, we send 30 polls to plugged in fans from each team. Dodgers fans, sign up HERE to join FanPulse.
It could go without saying, but Dodgers fan confidence is heavily influenced by how well the team does. This is shown in last week’s FanPulse survey, where just over three quarters of respondents were happy with the direction of the team. The Dodgers had just lost three straight games going into the All-Star break, so it’s easy to pinpoint what caused the dip in ratings.
Week one was the last time fans were less confident (76 percent).

Similarly, fan confidence in Dave Roberts reached an all-season low. For the first time in 16 weeks, his approval ratings dipped below the 80 percent range, falling at 76 percent.
This week’s national question was based on the rapidly approaching trade deadline. The survey asked which starting pitcher is the most valuable. Trevor Bauer of the Cleveland Indians, who has a 3.65 ERA and 1.16 WHIP, had the most votes (35 percent). Giants left hander Madison Bumgarner followed with 22 percent of votes. Perhaps the Dodgers could end up with one of these arms by July 31?
