The Dodgers have acquired left-handed relief pitcher Adam Kolarek from the Tampa Bay Rays in exchange for minor-leaguer Niko Hulsizer.

Kolarek, 30, is 4-3 with a 3.95 ERA this season. He has a WHIP of 1.223 with 36 strikeouts in 43 1⁄3 innings. Over his last 15 games, he owns an ERA of 2.40 and has held opponents to a .154 average.
Kolarek has always been a specialty against left-handed hitters. For his career, lefties are hitting .209 against him, and they’re hitting only .187 against him this season.
Hulsizer, 22, is hitting .265 this year between Great Lakes and Rancho Cucamonga. He has 20 home runs and 67 RBI.
