Amid all the trade deadline moves, there were some other quiet moves the Dodgers were involved in. Brock Stewart, who was pitching with Oklahoma City, was claimed off waivers y the Blue Jays.

Stewart, 27, began the season on the 25-man roster with the Dodgers. However, he’s spent most of 2019 with Oklahoma City. In 17 games, he’s 5-7 with a 7.34 ERA. He’s allowed 62 runs in 76 innings, and has struck out 67. His WHIP is 1.80.
Another move the Dodgers made was trading catcher Rocky Gale to the Tampa Bay Rays.

Gale, 31, appeared in five games with the Dodgers this season, but has spent most of his 2019 in the minors. In 34 games, he hit .246 with an OPS of .644. He had two home runs and drove in 14 runs.
