Every time Justin Turner hits a home run in August, he raises $1,000 for his foundation. This pledge comes as a partnership between REX, a real estate brokerage, and the Justin Turner Foundation.
The donations don’t stop at just home runs, though. REX pledged to donate $500 for every triple, $200 for every double and $100 for every single through the end of the month.

This added incentive is certainly having an affect on Turner, who has hit nearly one-quarter of his total home runs (21) in the month of August.
So far this month, Turner has five home runs, two doubles and seven singles, which equates to $6,100 donated. His biggest day yet was on Aug. 11 in the series finale against the Arizona Diamondbacks. He had an impressive two home run game in which he raised $2,000 to the JT Foundation.
The JT Foundation was founded by Turner and his wife Kourtney in 2016 with the mission to help people from all paths of life. This includes homeless veterans, children with life-altering diseases and well as youth baseball programs.

Anyone can contribute to the JT Foundation with a one-time donation or a pledge similar to the partnership with REX. One can make a pledge to donate any dollar amount to the foundation every time Turner as much as gets on base.
