It was a rough day to be a Dodgers minor league affiliate. All four full-season teams took the loss on Friday night.

Triple-A Oklahoma City

The Dodgers scored first but didn’t end up on top in their 13-3 loss to the Round Rock Express. Logan Bawcom earned his second Triple-A loss in a 5-inning outing. He allowed eight hits, two walks and six runs to score, including three homers.

Austin Barnes hit a home run — his sixth since being optioned to Oklahoma City. He is also slashing .271/.371/.627 since July 28, making a case for his MLB reinstatement. Jedd Gyorko went 1-for-4, and is batting .333 in his rehab assignment so far.

Double-A Tulsa

Things didn’t look much better in the next level, as the Drillers fell to the Naturals in extra innings, 3-2.

The Drillers offense was nowhere to be found. The team got a total of four hits and only scored from a Connor Wong home run. It was Wong’s 19th home run in the minors this year.

Leo Crawford gave up his first Double-A run in his no-decision. The left hander pitched six innings and allowed two runs to score from five hits and one walk.

Yordy Cabrera only threw one pitch but earned the loss. He came in as relief in the 10th inning, and allowed a double to the leadoff hitter. This brought in the runner placed at second, resulting in a Naturals walk-off win.

Class-A Rancho Cucamonga

The Quakes and Rawhide were forced to head to extra innings, but Visalia ultimately won 7-6. It was Chris Taylor’s second rehab game and went 2-for-3 with a walk as the designated hitter.

Wills Montgomerie was the Quakes starting pitcher and he went three innings, allowing two runs from three hits and four walks. Guillermo Zuniga earned the loss for his 1 13 inning contribution, where he allowed the two deciding runs to score in the 10th.

Class-A Great Lakes

The Loons fell early in the game and never caught up, falling to the Whitecaps, 6-3. Starting pitcher Steven Kolek earned his seventh loss of the season. He pitched three innings and gave up four runs (two earned) from eight hits and two walks.

Kody Hoese hit his second home run with the Loons and the fifth of his professional career. There wasn’t much action on the offensive side. Overall, the team went 1-for-3 with runners in scoring position and left three runners stranded.

Advanced Rookie Ogden

The Raptors had a day off to travel to Colorado to face the Rocky Mountain Vibes in a 4-game series.

Arizona League Dodgers

The AZL Dodgers Mota took the loss to the Brewers Blue on Friday. Kiké Hernández began his rehab assignment and hit a home run for his only hit of the night.
