Dodgers news...
The Home Run Derby came early to Los Angeles, as the Dodgers hit five homers in their 16-3 victory over the Blue Jays. You can read about it in the recap here!
Prior to the game, newly-acquired Laker Anthony Davis threw out the first pitch!

Cody Bellinger reached the 100 RBI milestone. He’s also the youngest player in franchise history with 40 homers and 100 RBI in a season.
Cody Bellinger is the first Dodger to reach the century mark in RBI since Adrián González knocked in 116 runs in 2014.

Yet again, the Dodgers hit a lot of homers.
Tonight is the 18th time this season the @Dodgers have hit at least 4 HR in a game.

That's the second most in a season in MLB history, behind only the 2017 Orioles (19).#LABleedsBlue
Check out this great piece on the Dodgers’ hitting coach, Robert Van Scoyoc.
Around the league....
If you’re expecting a shutout from your starting pitcher, don’t expect it to come against the Yankees.
With Gary Sánchez’s 1st inning HR, the @Yankees pass the 2000-2001 @Reds for most consecutive games without being shutout (209).
