After being hit in the hand by a pitch, Max Muncy exited last night’s game and didn’t return. He isn’t in the starting lineup today, and looks like he could potentially miss more time.
Max Muncy’s right wrist is in a brace. He said they’re waiting on the technician to undergo X-rays here at Chase Field. He underwent a fluoroscopy last night in San Diego, which isn’t as thorough as X-rays.

#Dodgers Max Muncy said fluoroscan in SD showed no fracture but (like Chris Taylor) he will have more extensive X-rays today. Small fracture might not show on fluoroscan.

Roberts said he expects Muncy will be out until at least early next week even if the news is good.

Chris Taylor had a very similar injury last month, and missed just about five weeks. There still is no word yet on the severity of Muncy’s injury, as he has yet to undergo x-rays.
It looks as if we’ll be seeing Ross Stripling return to the club in a few days.
Ross Stripling said his 3 innings Tuesday in Arizona went well despite it being 117 degrees out. He’ll be activated Sunday when rosters expand.

Stripling hasn’t pitched since July 24, as he was shortly after placed on the Injured List with right biceps tendinitis.
