Prior to Friday’s game, Max Muncy was placed on the 10-day injured list with a right wrist fracture. Kristopher Negrón has been activated.
Max Muncy said an MRI exam this morning revealed “a crack” in his right wrist. He called it “average” news based on the worst-case scenario. He said he thinks he could be back within a week or two.

The good news is that it appears Muncy won’t miss an extensive period of time. Yesterday it was reported that the injury was similar to Chris Taylor’s from July, which sidelined him five weeks. If all goes well, Muncy can hopefully return to the lineup in about two weeks.
On the season, Muncy is hitting .253 with 33 home runs and 87 RBI.
Being activated off the IL is Negrón, who was placed on the IL back on August 20 with neck stiffness. Prior to the injury, he was batting .268 with two homers and seven RBI in 15 games for the Dodgers.
