The Dodgers hope they avoided a serious injury today but all they know now is that Dustin May was able to walk off the field under his own power after he suffered getting hit by a batted ball.
In the fourth inning of today’s game against the Diamondbacks, Dustin May was struck in the head by a Jake Lamb line drive. Here’s a video of that play, just a little warning as it does show the ball striking May in the head.
Scary moment here, but thankfully Dustin May walked off on his own power after being hit in the head by a line drive.

The Diamondbacks did tie the game on that play as two runs scored as the ball was fielded by Kiké Hernández.
After the game, manager Dave Roberts gave an update.
#Dodgers Dave Roberts said Dustin May passed concussion fest. “Just a contusion “ to top/ right side of head
