Justin Turner scratched from lineup
Initially, Turner was in the starting lineup hitting third and playing third base. Shortly after, the lineup was changed, and he was no longer starting. Luckily, it looks like it’s nothing serious, and the club just wanted to give him some extra rest as he is dealing with a bit of an ankle injury.
#Dodgers Dave Roberts said it was “a brief conversation “ with Justin Turner after Turner took swings in the cage this afternoon. Decided another day off would be good for his ankle

Alex Verdugo update
There still isn’t a timetable as to when we can see Verdugo return. The rookie has been out for over a month, and has experienced some setbacks with his recovery. With his return still questionable, the Dodgers have brought up Edwin Rios to fill his void.
Alex Verdugo has been shut down from all baseball activities for 2,3 days. #Dodgers added Edwin Rios because they had expected to have Verdugo’s lefty bat on this trip
