Astros clinched the AL West on Sunday

The Astros clinched the AL West with their 102nd win of the season. The Cardinals have clinched a playoff spot though not their division yet.

National League Division Races

NL West - Dodgers clinched the division on Tuesday September 10th.

NL Central - Cardinals have a three-games lead over the Brewers (4)

NL East - Braves clinched the division on Friday September 20th

American League Division Races

AL West - Astros clinched the division on Sunday September 22nd.

AL Central - Twins have a 4 games lead over the Indians (3).

AL East - Yankees clinched the division on Thursday September 19th.

National League Wild-Card Race

  • Nationals and Brewers are tied for the top wild-card position
  • The Cubs (3) are 4 games back and the Mets (3) trail by 4½ games. The Phillies (2) and Diamondbacks (1) are 6 games back.

American League Wild-Card Race

  • Athletics are in the first wild-card position and they have a two games lead over both the Rays and Indians
