With a little more than a week left in the regular season, we break down the potential Dodgers roster for the National League Division Series, with most of the 25-man roster basically set but with still a few battles for spots remaining.
For historical purposes, in the Andrew Friedman era the Dodgers have gone with 12 pitchers in six of their nine postseason series and 11 pitchers in three others, with 12 pitchers the choice in six of their last seven series. So in our NLDS roster guesses we have 13 position players and 12 pitchers.
NOTE: We recorded this before the weekend series against Colorado, and before Walker Buehler and Hyun-jin Ryu swapped places in the rotation, so please adjust your ears when you hear us talk about a now-outdated order.
The NLDS begins on Thursday, Oct. 3 at Dodger Stadium.
