Joc Pederson hit a total of FOUR homer runs in the series against the Rockies. And he didn’t even play for a whole game.
6 AB | 5 H | 4 HR | 8 RBI | 6 R | 1 BB |
He went 5-for-6 in the two games he did play, tallying up eight RBIs and six runs scored. All five hits were extra base hits — one double and the four homers.
The reason why he didn’t play in all three games despite him being on a roll? He made an amazing catch in right field on Monday night, crashing into the short wall and getting the wind knocked out of him. He was on the ground for a little while, but got up and walked off the field on his own. He sat on Tuesday because he was still a bit sore.
This is one of the most painful home run robberies I’ve seen this year. Holy cow, Joc Pederson. pic.twitter.com/iNcMCbQAkJ

Talk about taking one for the team.
The best part about this hot streak is that Joc Pederson is using Andre Either’s bat. Not sure if it’s in the bat or if it’s something Joc is eating, but either way, it’s working.

If we want to go deeper into his entire hot streak, we have to look back at game four from Arizona where he hit a game-winning pinch-hit home run. Taking that into consideration, he is 6-for-7 with nine RBIs.
The @Dodgers' Joc Pederson has 5 homers and a double in his last 6 at-bats.

The 6 consecutive at-bats with an extra-base hit ties the National League record set by Colorado's Larry Walker from May 21-22, 1996.#LABleedsBlue
