Podcast episode 2033: The Dodgers are World Series champions

For the first time in 32 years, LA wins it all

MLB: World Series-Tampa Bay Rays at Los Angeles Dodgers Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

The episode of the podcast we’ve been waiting to record for over seven years is here. The Dodgers won the World Series, and we’re here to talk about it.

We haphazardly recapped the Dodgers’ six-game World Series win over the Rays, picked series MVP candidates, chose our favorite individual plays for the postseason, recounted the emotional swing from Game 4 to Games 5 and 6, and the bizarre and potentially reckless decision for Justin Turner to break isolation to celebrate and interact with the team after testing positive for COVID-19.

Please send all of your questions to, or tweet us at @ericstephen or @jacobburch. Special thanks to producer Brian Salvatore for all of his hard work throughout the season.
