Best moments of 2020: A Clayton Kershaw battle

Clayton Kershaw.....vs......Clayton Kershaw

We finally had a race that was somewhat competitive! And by being competitive, I mean not receiving 90 percent of the vote. Someone suggested that this bracket should have been split up into two parts, because there is no way any of these regular season moments are going to beat these incredible postseason moments, right?

(Hence why we at least vote and see!)

Like I said, the last matchup was “close”. Mookie Betts and his clutch double play won, but with only 85 percent of the vote on TBLA, and only 79 percent of the vote on Twitter.

Here’s an updated look at the bracket.

Clayton Kershaw’s incredible start in the Wild Card series

We got a battle of Clayton Kershaw today — this will be fun! The first Kershaw moment comes back in the National League Wild Card Series against the Brewers. I know, I’ve nearly forgotten about that series as well. Kershaw delivered arguably the greatest start in his postseason career. He threw eight scoreless innings and allowed only three hits. He struck out 13 and issued only one walk. Seriously, across the board, it was the best we’ve ever seen from him in October. Hell, scratch October, it was overall one of the better starts of his entire career!

Clayton Kershaw throws him out at home!

With the series tied at two games a piece in the World Series, the Dodgers were hanging on to a lead over the Rays. With two outs and runners on the corners, Kershaw (thanks to Max Muncy) threw home and caught Manuel Margot trying to steal home. Had he been safe, the game would have been tied and who knows where that inning and series could have gone.

What was the better moment?
