Minor league camp has been in full swing for a little bit, and now it’s time to play some games. The spring training schedule on the minor league side starts Friday, and runs for three weeks.
For those visiting spring training in person, minor league games offer an opportunity to see even more baseball on the back fields, and for free to boot. There are also two games going at once, with Triple-A and Double-A teaming up, as well as both Class-A teams sticking together.
When the higher levels play at home, the Class-A teams go on the road, and vice versa. Here is the Dodgers’ schedule:

Big league camp breaks on March 21, but on the minor league side the games continue for two more weeks. That’s why you might see some players who could open the season on the injured list staying back so they can still get in game action. The last week of games are played at night.
Minor league spring games end on March 2, and the regular season opens on March 9 for the top four levels.
