The Dodgers turned to Don Drysdale in Game 7 against the Brewers, looking to advance to the final four of the MLB “Dream Bracket”. Per MLB.com, here’s a quick recap of the series.
Drysdale, who twirled eight scoreless innings in Game 3, duplicated that with another eight scoreless frames in the clincher, while Eric Gagne saved all four Dodgers wins. Duke Snider, Gil Hodges and Gary Sheffield powered the offense with a combined five home runs, 11 RBIs and 10 runs scored.
