Game thread: Steve Finley’s grand slam clinches NL West

Happy Saturday, everyone!

Welcome to today’s game thread. Today we’ll be watching the Dodgers/Giants game from October 2, 2004. Or, better known as the game in which Steve Finley hit a walk-off grand slam to clinch the division for the Dodgers.

The game begins at 12:30 p.m. PT on SportsNet LA. A lot more people have that channel now, so if you have SNLA, turn it on and enjoy the game! If you don’t have the channel, you can still follow along in the game thread!

We’ll be doing more watch parties in the coming weeks, with some games being on SNLA and the others being accessible on Youtube.
