100 greatest Dodgers of all-time

Currently here at TrueBlue LA, we’re doing a 64-player bracket of your “Favorite Dodgers” of all-time. Well, with the voting currently going on for that, I thought it would be a lot of fun if I ranked the 100 greatest players in Dodgers history.

With so many legends and greats, this won’t be easy. Here’s how this is going to go down. For the next 100 days, I am going to have a quick post about the player ranked. I’m going to start at 100, and work my way all the way down to one.

These rankings are going to be determined based off a player’s WAR while with the Dodgers. I am going to take their WAR from Baseball Reference and FanGraphs, combine the two, and rank the players based on that average.

There will likely be some players who don’t crack the list that upset you, or players that seem ranked too high or too low. As I mentioned, these rankings will be entirely based off of WAR.

I’m really looking forward to beginning this fun and exciting journey! The countdown will begin tomorrow, so stay tuned!
