Dodgers links: Advice for young baseball players

A thread among major league players spread over the weekend, with three pieces of advice for young players. Here are a few Dodgers-related responses, from Justin Turner, David Freese, and the like:

MLB groundskeepers are keeping somewhat busy during the shutdown, writes the Associated Press:

“Somebody will be there pretty much every day dealing with the grass and making sure that we’ll be ready to go at a moment’s notice, or when players are here, they’ll be able to go out and do long toss on the field, should they need it,” Hoy said.

According to doctors and scientists, it’s going to be later than sooner for sports to return, writes Helene Elliott at the Los Angeles Times.

A U.S. District Court threw out a class action lawsuit from daily fantasy players brought against Major League Baseball regarding the Astros and Red Sox cheating scandals late last week.
