The round of 32 begins!

It’s been a while since voting closed for the final round of 64. But hey, we’re back! We started with 64 players, and now we’re down to 32.

Over a month ago, the Dodgers posted a 64-player bracket on social media and asked fans to vote for their favorites. I thought it’d be a fun idea to turn that into a series of articles and ask you fans here at True Blue LA to vote.

Here’s how the last round of voting played out results wise.

Sandy Koufax received 97 percent of the vote in his matchup versus Chris Taylor, with Clayton Kershaw receiving 96 percent of the votes in his matchup with Rick Monday.

There were two really close matchups. The first was between Jim Gilliam and Eric Garros. Gilliam pulled out the last-second victory as he got 52 percent of the votes. The next closest was the Bill Russell/Yasiel Puig showdown. Puig came out on top, nabbing 53 percent of votes.

You can check out the full results here:

Time to move on to the round of 32! We’ll start with the bracket that kicked this series off over a month ago. Here were the results from the first section of voting.

Time to kick off the voting! The polls will be open until Saturday May 16 at 11:59 p.m. PT.

* Remember, this is voting for your FAVORITE Dodgers players. Not necessarily who the best Dodgers player was.
