True Blue LA watch parties

We had 3 games per week for nearly 3 months at True Blue LA.

During the downtime with no MLB games to watch, we watched old Dodgers games three times per week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

There have been various games shown on television (MLB Network, FS1, and in the Dodgers’ case SportsNet LA have all been prolific at this), but for our purposes we are sticking to games on YouTube for our watch parties. For one, not everyone gets SportsNet LA, and with YouTube we can schedule these games at a regular time each week rather than wait for a network to air it.

Wd might pick these back up in the offseason.

Generally the post for the retro game thread will be up about a half hour before we start watching (4:30 p.m. for a 5 p.m. game, for instance). We encourage you to join us and participate in the comments during the game, whether it’s your first time seeing the game or if you are just reliving a classic memory.

In case you’ve missed any of our previous watch parties, here’s a list of them with links to each post, which includes the video of the game. We will keep this page updated throughout the year, until MLB returns.
