We now find ourselves at No. 2 on the countdown. Throughout the last 20 years, the Dodgers have given out over 100 bobbleheads. Former manager Tommy Lasorda is near the top when it comes to most given away. He’s had some good ones, but none better than this one.
The Dodgers gave out this bobblehead on September 14, 2007, commemorating the 10-year anniversary of when Lasorda was inducted into the Hall of Fame.
The bobblehead shows Lasorda holding his Hall of Fame plaque, while wearing a blue Dodgers jacket. The creativity on this one gets a 10/10, as this is the only bobblehead that features the plaque. The team has done bobbleheads in the past of players holding awards they’ve won, but c’mon... what tops a Hall of Fame plaque?
More bonus points goes towards the bobblehead for having Lasorda rock the awesome blue jacket.
If this bobblehead looks familiar, it’s because you’ve probably seen the jumbo version at Dodger Stadium or at Camelback Ranch.
Stay tuned this week for the unveiling of the No. 1 bobblehead!
