- Talk about brotherly love, as both Corey Seager and Kyle Seager hit a home run in their first career game against each other. Per MLB Stats, Kyle and Corey Seager are the first pair of brothers on opposing teams to homer in the same game since Cesar and Felipe Crespo (June 7, 2001).
In their first game against each other, BOTH Seager brothers homer.

- If you want to know who the early National League MVP is, it’s likely this guy right here. Fernando Tatis Jr. had yet another incredible game, hitting two homers and driving in seven runs. Per MLB Stats, he’s the youngest player (21y, 228d) with a 7-RBI game since Ron Santo in 1961. Here’s his grand slam that gave him four of those RBI.

- Luke Voit has some high praise for the Yankees, calling them the deepest team in all of baseball. “We have the deepest team in baseball,” Voit said. “Guys are coming up and providing us with innings, at-bats, everything. It’s really impressive. I’ve never been on a team that’s had this much depth. Guys have stepped in for big-time All-Star players and have done really well.”
- Want to feel old? Luis García, the Nationals’ No. 2 prospect, became the first MLB player born in the 2000s to hit a home run at the big league level.
