Per a press release from the Dodgers, the team will honor the memories of Gianna and Kobe Bryant on Sunday afternoon prior to their game versus the Rockies. Sunday would have been Kobe’s 42nd birthday.
Bryant and his daughter tragically passed away in January in a helicopter crash that claimed the lives of seven others.
Fans are encouraged to tune in to SportsNet LA for live coverage of the ceremony beginning at 12:40 p.m. PT on Sunday. It’s unclear as to how the Dodgers plan on conducting the ceremony, but it definitely will be a must-watch.
