He struggled at the plate in limited action, going 1-for-15.
Amaya spent most of the 2019 season in A ball playing for Great Lakes. In 104 games, he hit .262/.381/.394/.775. He hit six homers and drove in 58.

The Dodgers had a scrimmage game yesterday featuring players from the alternate site at USC. There isn’t an official box score from the game, but “Future Dodgers” on Twitter was able to provide a lot of play-by-play of the game.
- Gavin Lux hit two home runs, with both of them coming off of Tony Gonsolin. That’s definitely an encouraging sign!
- Zach Reks hit two homers off Gonsolin as well. He was drafted by the Dodgers in the 10th round of the 2017 MLB Draft. Between Tulsa and Oklahoma City, Reks hit 28 homers in 121 games last season.
- Bobby Miller, LA’s first round pick this season, threw four shutout innings
