Joc Pederson activated from paternity list

The Dodgers have reinstated outfielder Joc Pederson from the paternity list and have optioned Matt Beaty to their alternate site at USC.

Pederson was placed on the Paternity List on September 8. Per the rule, you can only miss a maximum of three days after you’re placed on the list. Hopefully the rest will be good for Pederson, as he was 1-for-20 over his previous seven games. Hey, maybe he’ll be revamped with some brand new #DadPower.

It’s been a rough season so far for Beaty who has only appeared in 21 of the Dodgers’ 45 games. On the year he’s hitting .220 with two homers and five runs driven in. His bWAR on the season is -0.5.

Just a friendly reminder that the Dodgers have an off-day today. They’ll pick things back up again tomorrow night against Houston.
