The Dodgers unveiled their 2021 spring training schedule on Wednesday, well at least the Cactus League portion of it in Arizona.
Saturday, Feb. 27 is when the Dodgers will start their exhibition schedule, playing the Cubs at Sloan Park in Mesa. The Dodgers have their first home game one day later, hosting the Rangers at Camelback Ranch in Glendale, Arizona.
Sixteen of the Dodgers’ 30 spring games in Arizona will be played at Camelback Ranch, including three weekend games against the White Sox, co-tenants in Glendale. Those 30 games are spread over 29 days, including three split-squad days and two off days.
The Dodgers and Angels will play a Freeway Series once both teams return to southern California, though the details for those games haven’t yet been released. The final day of camp in Arizona is Sunday, March 27, leaving three days open for the potential Freeway Series games, leading up to Opening Day of the regular season on Thursday, April 1 at Coors Field.
