Usually when there is a superstar that switches teams, a lot of people flock to buy that jersey. That was the case this year, as Mookie Betts was announced as the most popular MLB jersey in 2020. Surprisingly, this was the first time in his career Betts has finished No. 1 on the list. Something that is even more surprising, he’s the first Dodgers player to EVER finish a season with the most popular player jersey in the Majors.

Overall, the Dodgers were the most popular team when it came to jersey sales, as they had three players in the top nine of sales. Cody Bellinger, 2019’s National League MVP came in sixth place, with Clayton Kershaw coming in ninth place. Bellinger makes sense as he’s another hot ticket fresh off his MVP campaign, but major props to Kershaw for finishing so high. This is his 13th season with the Dodgers, so you would think by now everyone would already own his jersey.
