After months and months, we’ve finally entered the Sweet 16! We started with 32 incredible moments from the 2020 Dodgers season, and now we’re down to 16.
The final matchup of the first round featured an incredible Mookie Betts throw going up against Justin Turner setting LA’s postseason franchise home run record. Betts took home the victory, receiving 64 percent of the vote on TBLA and 68 percent of the vote on Twitter.
Here’s a look at how the bracket looks entering the Sweet 16.

Joe Kelly and the meme seen around the world
On July 28, Joe Kelly became America’s hero. After striking out Carlos Correa, Kelly barked a few words and then gave us a meme that will never get old. Memes were created, t-shirts were made and every baseball fan in the world smiled. Nice swing, Carlos. (That’s the PG version).
Clayton Kershaw sets postseason strikeout record
Clayton Kershaw has pretty much checked off every box he needs to for his career, but for good measure he added another this year. In his final outing of the postseason, Kershaw moved into sole possession of first place with most strikeouts in postseason history with 207.
