The career season continues for Chris Taylor, as he added another accomplishment to his resume.
On Saturday, Taylor was named as the the recipient of the 16th annual Roy Campanella Award. The award is voted on by uniformed Dodger personnel and is given to the Dodger player who best exemplifies the spirit and leadership of Campanella, one of the greatest players in the history of the franchise.
Last month, Taylor was named the Dodgers’ 2021 Heart and Hustle Award winner. The award is presented annually by the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association (MLBPAA) to one player on each team who “best embodies the values, spirits and traditions of baseball,” along with factoring in on-field performance.
