Now that free agency is upon us, let’s see how well we can predict where various Dodgers will sign this winter.
The Dodgers have 11 players who became free agents on Wednesday, the day after the World Series. With all due respect to Jimmy Nelson — who had Tommy John surgery and flexor tendon repair in August — as well as Steven Souza Jr., Danny Duffy, and Cole Hamels, we’re going to stick with the other seven free agents.
We’ll also add Joe Kelly to the list, which we can modify should the Dodgers exercise his option this week.
But that leaves us with eight players, and I’d like to see how well the True Blue LA readers can guess where they will all play in 2022. The great eight:
Kenley Jansen
Joe Kelly
Clayton Kershaw
Corey Knebel
Albert Pujols
Max Scherzer
Corey Seager
Chris Taylor
What I’d like from you in the comments below is that list of eight players and the team you think they will sign with. That’s it! No need for contract length or amount. We will get to that for some individual players later.
We’ll compile all the free agent guesses, and look back at the end of the offseason how we collectively did.
