Best moments of 2020: Will Smith vs Will Smith & a blowing kiss

Well, we finally had our first voting that required me to add up the totals. The last matchup in voting featured Mookie Betts’ incredible catch in the NLCS against the Braves against LA’s 11-run inning, also in the NLCS.

I have voting open on Twitter and TBLA, and for the first time, both sites didn’t agree. On TBLA, the 11-run inning took in 64 percent of the vote. On Twitter, Mookie’s catch won with 52 percent of the vote. After adding the vote totals from both sites together, the incredible leaping catch from Betts takes home the prize!

Will Smith HR off of Will Smith

To me, this was the biggest moment of the entire 2020 season. Trailing in the game, and trailing 3-1 in the series, Will Smith hit this clutch home run in the sixth inning to give the Dodgers the lead.

You know the rest. The Dodgers won the game, they came back and won the series, and they went on to win the World Series. Had Smith not hit this home run in this moment, who knows what would have happened.

Of course, Will Smith hitting it off Will Smith made it that much better.

Brusdar Graterol blows kiss to Manny Machado

As if every Dodgers fan didn’t love Brusdar Graterol already, this is officially what won them over. After an incredible Cody Bellinger catch to rob Fernando Tatis Jr. of a home run, Graterol celebrated by throwing his hat into the air. Former Dodger Manny Machado took offense to Graterol having fun, and was very upset. Graterol didn’t care, as he blew him a kiss. Hey, all he was doing was showing some love!
