It’s been some time, but we’re back for the ELITE 8! There’s only a few left, and we’re so close to determining what the best moment of the 2020 season was.
In case you forgot, Mookie Betts took down Mookie Betts in the last round of voting. His incredible catch took in 79 percent of the vote here on TBLA and a very nice 69 percent of the vote over on Twitter.
Here’s how the bracket looks as we enter the Elite 8. If you thought voting was hard before, get ready for some of the hardest decisions of your life.
Oh, since we need to wrap this up by Opening Day, we will be having TWO matchups today. So, you’ll decide which two moments will face off in the final four next week.

MATCHUP NO. 1
Joe Kelly and the meme seen around the world
On July 28, Joe Kelly became America’s hero. After striking out Carlos Correa, Kelly barked a few words and then gave us a meme that will never get old. Memes were created, t-shirts were made and every baseball fan in the world smiled. Nice swing, Carlos. (That’s the PG version).
Another spectacular Mookie Betts catch
Imagine seeing this play from Mookie Betts in right field and realizing that it wasn’t even his best play from that SERIES. Well, it’s true. Betts proved to us he’s arguably the best right fielder in all of baseball, as he showcased his talents on a weekly basis. He made this incredible catch in Game 6 of the NLCS. Though he didn’t rob a home run, he did end what could have been a huge inning from the Atlanta Braves.

MATCHUP NO. 2
Will Smith HR off of Will Smith
To me, this was the biggest moment of the entire 2020 season. Trailing in the game, and trailing 3-1 in the series, Will Smith hit this clutch home run in the sixth inning to give the Dodgers the lead.
You know the rest. The Dodgers won the game, they came back and won the series, and they went on to win the World Series. Had Smith not hit this home run in this moment, who knows what would have happened.
Of course, Will Smith hitting it off Will Smith made it that much better.
Kiké Hernández with the game-tying home run in game 7 of NLCS
How many times have we seen deliver for LA in the postseason? A number of times. However, arguably his biggest moment as a Dodger came in the bottom of the sixth in game 7 of the NLCS. Trailing a run, Hernández absolutely launched the game-tying homer into the bleachers. On the eighth pitch of the AB, he brought his Dodgers right back into the game. We all know how this game ended..... and it’s largely due to this at bat right here.
