The Dodgers hit the road on Tuesday for their first night game of the spring, and the first of three evening games this week, battling the rival Giants at Scottsdale Stadium.

Walker Buehler starts for the Dodgers, making his 2021 spring training debut. Though Buehler is pitching directly after Trevor Bauer, who pithed two scoreless innings against Colorado in his debut on Monday, manager Dave Roberts said it was too early to assume that would be the rotation order to open the regular season.
“It just kind of lined up with the pitching guys, [pitching coach] Mark Prior in particular,” Roberts said on a Zoom call Monday. “I think we’re still a few weeks away from kind of getting things really locked down.”
The Dodgers have two scheduled off days this spring — Saturday, March 13 and Wednesday, March 24 — should they choose to shuffle the pitching order between now and opening day, which is Thursday, April 1 against the Rockies at Coors Field in Denver.
Also slated to pitch for the Dodgers on Tuesday night are Dustin May, left-hander Alex Vesia, plus non-roster pitchers James Pazos, Enny Romero, and Nick Robertson.
Right-hander Logan Webb starts on the mound for the Giants on Tuesday night.
Tuesday is the first of three straight night games for the Dodgers, who have games at Camelback Ranch on Wednesday against the Reds and Thursday against the Cubs, both 5:05 p.m. PT starts.
