Only one team was in action on Monday, and there really wasn’t much happening. Cody Bellinger played for OKC and didn’t record a hit. That’s all you really need to know.
Triple-A Oklahoma City
The offense was quiet, the pitching struggled and the Dodgers lost, 9-2. Cody Bellinger went 0-for-3 with two strikeouts. Zach McKinstry had the day off. If you want a silver lining for the offense, it was Elliot Soto, who had two hits and drove in a run.
Yasiel Sierra had another disastrous outing. He allowed three runs without even recording an out. For the season, he’s allowed 10 runs to score in only 3 2⁄3 innings of work.
