The latest All-Star voting update dropped on Monday, and there aren’t really any drastic changes to the results. Max Muncy still is the leading vote-getter among National League first basemen. He’s the only Dodgers player currently leading the way.
However, every position except catcher features a Dodgers player that would advance them into the next phase of voting.
As a reminder, the voting is different than in years past. The top three vote-getters at each position will advance to the next stage of voting, with the top nine outfielders advancing. Phase two of voting will feature those players, and the starters will be determined based off who wins that round.
Voting will end for phase one on Thursday, with the results being released on Sunday. Then on Monday, June 28, the next phase of voting will begin and then will wrap up Thursday, July 1.
Here are the latest results:
First base:
Max Muncy - 1st place (22% of votes)
Second base:
Gavin Lux - 3rd place (11% of votes)
Shortstop:
Corey Seager - 3rd place (10% of votes)
Third base:
Justin Turner - 3rd place (13% of votes)
Outfield:
Mookie Betts - 4th place (8% of votes)
Chris Taylor - 5th place (4% of votes)
Catcher:
Will Smith - 4th place (11% of votes)
